short hair works best with birdcage veils so if you have a bob that's great or you can have a bun.

I recently went to a 1920′s Prohibition era-esque party where we were instructed to dress like the decade (think flapper dresses, Charleston dancing, the Roaring 20′s!) and rather than wear the traditional headband with feather, I decided to go one step further to stand out from the rest and opted for a birdcage veil instead. Rather than spending money on one (they can be £45 plus) I decided to utilise my craftiness and make my very own! I went searching on the net for some ideas and was inspired by a picture of Drew Barrymore’s beautiful veil below.
